Caller Line Identification (CLI)
On receiving your call at our local call centre the number you are calling from is displayed on the telephonists computer screen along with your most recent journeys booked from that contact number this allows the telephonist to enter and complete your booking as quickly and efficiently as possible.
This service enables you to book a taxi for immediate hire from your house paying by cash/chip & pin at the touch of a button, there is no need to speak to our telephonists, this service is very popular at peak times.

The Audit trail enables us to locate all information from the initial call to the time the meter is activated to the completion of the hire, any modifications that are made to any booking are recorded in the audit trail at the time the change was made.

Text Back is an SMS message sent to your mobile phone containing your taxis make model, colour and registration number on arrival. This service is free to all customers.
This is an automated message informing you of your taxis imminent arrival, this message is pre-recorded and is activated by the driver when he/she is on approach to your pick up location, once you have received the call back the driver is sent an automated message back to his data unit to inform him/her if the call back has been successful or unsuccessful.

I V R is a unique service provided by Rainbow for customers that call back to check the status of their taxi booking. On calling the Rainbow office the IVR intercepts the call and locates the booking that is connected with the phone number calling, from this information the IVR will then tell you the type, colour and registration of your vehicle along with the time the taxi was dispatched.
Meet and Greet Service
Rainbow City Taxis provide a meet and greet service at Aberdeen airport 7 days a week, our Meet and Greet representative will wait at Arrivals at Aberdeen airport with a Rainbow City Taxis white board displaying the customers name and will then escort them to their taxi, this saves the customer incurring waiting time and trying to locate their car!! This service is extremely popular with our many customers who have clients arriving at the airport who have never visited Aberdeen before and also clients that arrive on a week to week basis. The guarantee we offer with this service is that you as a customer will never be charged for a taxi that has been booked but not utilised.
